What is a green sea peel?
​
It is a peel like no other. It utilizes 100% natural spicules derived from hydrolyzed sea sponges for a gentle micro-channel effect on the skin. Spicules are massaged into the skin which stimulates collagen, exfoliates the skin and pulls pigment, all while delivering a plethora of vitamins and nutrients.
Think of it as a plant-based microneedling treatment.
Acid-free, pregnancy-safe, and suitable for all skin types, this peel enhances elasticity, reduces hyperpigmentation, refines texture, and rejuvenates the skin.
For best results, a series of 3 treatments are recommended. I recommend doing a Hydra Glow Facial first and then start the peel prep treatment at home for 2 weeks before receiving the first Peel and Glow treatment.
Sensitivity will last about 72 hours post-treatment. A full consultation will be done pre-treatment

Green Sea Peel applied and massaged into skin with a cooling gel. Peel is left on the skin for approximately 15 minutes

During which time you will receive a relaxing shoulder massage with a rich Cocoa massage cream

The peel is removed with a soothing toner

Pre and Post care advice for the Green Sea Peel
Pre care:
For at least 48 hours before, do not use heavy moisturizers or hydrating masks. This may affect the amount of peeling.
Do not exfoliate skin for at least 72 hours before treatment
Do not use Retinol for 7 days before treatment
Use the BioHerb light peel 1-2x a week for 2 weeks before treatment
Post care:
Do NOT wash the skin for 24 hours For 72 hours
It is important to not do anything that would heat the internal body temp, like sauna, exercise or hot showers.
Do not exfoliate the skin for 7 days after treatment
Do NOT pick or peel as this can lead to scarring
Apply a light moisturizer daily and SPF
We recommend a series of 3 treatments, performed every 4 weeks.
